March 22, 2006 -- Muslims becoming Christians.

     For many years I've been speaking out about the Islamic law of apostasy which calls for the death of any Muslim who leaves Islam and becomes a follower of Christ.

     Right now, in Afghanistan, our brother in Christ, Mr. Abdul Rahman, is making his stand for our Lord.

     There are those who would declare him insane, but he is simply following the Lord Jesus Christ to the point of total obedience to his commands and teachings:

"Do not think that I came to bring peace on the earth; I did not come to bring peace, but a sword. For I came to set a man against his father, and a daughter against her mother, and a daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law; and a man's enemies will be the members of his household. He who loves father or mother more than Me is not worthy of Me; and he who loves son or daughter more than Me is not worthy of Me. And he who does not take his cross and follow after Me is not worthy of Me. He who has found his life shall lose it, and he who has lost his life for My sake shall find it." (Jesus, New Testament, Matthew 10:34-39)

     Our dear brother Abdul Rahman, while many look on with shock and horror about your situation, Christians around the world are looking to you with admiration for your stand for our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. We honor you, respect you, offer up our prayers, and will do all we can to come to your aid in your hour of need.

     We know you are no fool in giving up that which you cannot keep in order to gain that which you cannot lose.
